✦The Guardian Angel has been meaning to try something for two years and never has. Then this friend says 'we're going Saturday, I already checked, be ready at nine,' and suddenly it's done. Afterward they'll admit they'd never have gone alone, and they mean it as thanks.

◇The Guardian Angel keeps a private ledger of everything they've done for you, and never mentions a single line of it. The Daredevil, who wasn't tracking anything at all, gets blindsided when six months of unspoken accounting arrives at once on a Tuesday night.
◇Teasing is affection in one direction and a small wound in the other. A joke about how someone worries too much is funny exactly once. The Daredevil moves on instantly; the Guardian Angel is still turning it over at midnight, deciding not to bring it up.

How others see you two

People treat you as a package deal in a specific way: one gets invited for energy, the other gets texted when someone's actually in trouble. Friends joke the Daredevil would've lost a passport in three countries by now without the other one, and nobody argues.
